Carbon footprinting at the Farmers’ Market

Cornwall CRAG (Carbon Rationing and Action Group) and Transition Truro engaged shoppers in looking at their energy use.

Saturday 26th April was the warmest day of the year so far, luckily for us, as it can be a bit Siberian on Lemon Quay! We had the CRAG spreadsheets on calculating domestic and transport energy use, the Green Quaker carbon footprinting tool, free low energy light bulbs and various pieces of literature. Members of the public, in the main, responded with interest and we had some interesting discussion and exchanges of ideas.

Bruce is fired up to do it again sometime soon and has some new ideas.
